About Us

OneWorld UK is an international NGO based in the UK, implementing programmes worldwide. Our mission is to innovate using mobile and Internet technologies to enable the world’s vulnerable communities to get the information they need to improve their lives. We mix and match new media in innovative ways and mobile phones tend to be at the heart of many of our projects as they have become ever more ubiquitous and accessible. Our current projects focus on two key initiatives in the West Africa Region: sexual and reproductive health and rights – including maternal and child health – and governance and democracy. They are all linked by a common theme: active citizenship.

In each country, we engage local staff to work with partners to develop locally relevant solutions for end users.
