New footage catches APRIL destroying the rainforest in Borneo

Our research team has sent us the first batch of footage from the Indonesian rainforest. They were documenting rainforest destruction by APRIL - the paper company that Santander loaned millions of pounds to.

The video was shot in Kalimantan, the Indonesian part of Borneo. It shows APRIL's bulldozers systematically destroying ancient rainforest.

Over the past year, APRIL destroyed an area of forest here that's three times the size of Paris. Trees that had stood since before the invention of the printing press are now being cut down to make cheap paper and disposable packaging.

We'd normally save footage like this until our investigation was complete. But what APRIL is doing is so shocking that we didn't want to wait.

Most companies want nothing to do with rainforest destruction. Yet the high street bank Santander has loaned APRIL millions of pounds.

Santander's loans are a crucial lifeline for APRIL. They help it stay afloat even though its customers are deserting in droves.

Share this video to expose Santander's secret, and tell the bank to stop financing companies like APRIL.
