The theft of Zanele Muholi's work from her flat in Cape Town has provoked outrage.

More than 20 hard drives were stolen containing five years of work, including images captured at the funerals of three lesbians killed in hate crimes. It is believed the burglars targeted her work as little else was taken from the flat.
